ANNUAL ~ DAY ONE

Thank you so much for joining this behind the scenes experience. On each day (5 days) you will receive three audio tracks and three short videos of me giving you details and info about each track. Day 1 includes the first three tracks: January (The Morning Still), February (Clock Room ft. Amrit Sond) and March (Brescia). The first two tracks are probably the most mellow on the album as they reflect the 2nd half of winter. March is where spring starts to kick in. I really hope you enjoy these, please let me know what you think by replying to the welcome email.

1. JANUARY (THE MORNING STILL)

January (The Morning Still) is an atmospheric track. The chords represent the haunting, still darkness on those cold mornings and the harmonics represent the cold rain hitting your umbrella whilst waiting for a train on the daily commute.

2. FEBRUARY (CLOCK ROOM FT. AMRIT SOND)

February (Clock Room) is a piece inspired by Italian pianist and composer Ludovico Einaudi. Whilst I was growing up my Father and Nan both had lots of clocks in their living rooms. Each clock was slightly out of time, which would result in a delayed chime on the hour. My guitar playing represents the ticking clock where as Amrit's E-bow represents the delayed hour chimes.

3. MARCH (BRESCIA)

March (Brescia) was composed in Italy whilst I was recording my 'Live in Italy' CD-DVD, due out 2020. DADGAD is one of my favourite tunings and when got back to my hotel post-filming, I was able to sit and relax. After a rest, I picked up the guitar and this track came to life.
